Our Background

My name is Ignacio Lopez, I’ve been in construction since 11 years of age working alongside with my dad as a Painters kid. We painted numerous buildings and houses all over Denver, Co. After moving back to Houston, Tx, my original birthplace I eventually got my start after Hurricane Harvey in 2017 with my business being born as ‘Better Mans Construction’ and started going on my construction journey. I attended University of Houston-Downtown majoring in Business Management. The Marilyn Davis School of Business Center is where I studied and started to formulate my entrepreneurial skill set. I personally remember walking down from my campus, center of Downtown Houston 2015 while watching all the construction that took place throughout Downtown Houston and that’s where I found my passion for construction! Wanting to take my passion more seriously with a few more developmental experiences over the years, ‘Better Mans Construction’ was soon to be established as a LLC and take that full leap of Faith to what was to come!
